Rates Only Preliminary; Cash Deposit Rates From Previous Proceedings Still in Effect
These AD duty rates are only preliminary, and do not change current AD duty rates. For now, the most recent final AD rate calculated for each exporter is still applicable. If no final AD duty rate has ever been calculated for a company, then it is subject to the all others rate of 11.8%. The final results of this administrative review are currently due in July.
Cash Deposit Requirements
Once Commerce issues its final results, new AD duty cash deposit requirements may take effect for some companies, beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register.
| Producer/Exporter | AD Rate |
|---|---|
| Daewoo Electronics Corporation | 82.41% |
| LG Electronics, Inc. | 1.57% |
| Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. | 82.41% |
Assessment Rates
Commerce will use these rates to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers for entries between Aug. 3, 2012 and Jan. 31, 2014. If the agency makes no changes in its final results, Commerce will assess AD duties on importers of subject merchandise from Daewoo and Samsung at the rates listed above. Importers of subject merchandise from LG would be assigned importer-specific rates. Importers of large residential washers from all other companies would have their entries liquidated at the cash deposit rates in effect at time of entry.
(The period of review is 08/03/12 -- 01/31/14. See notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
