He spoke favorably on data breach notification legislation. “This is something that Senator Thune is working on right now,” Quinalty said. He, like Thune, warned about forthcoming White House privacy legislation. He also stressed Thune’s role on the Finance Committee and his commitment to overhauling the tax code, which he said will help these businesses.
