Bluetooth Smart to the driver’s smartphone, family and friends, and social networks three to five minutes before the driver begins to doze off, the company said Friday. The Alert Band’s app uses a numbering system, from 0 to 100, to indicate the user’s fatigue level from low to high, with a score of 80 or more considered dangerous, the company said. The device operates on a 20-hour rechargeable battery, it said.
