Rates Only Preliminary; Cash Deposit Rates From Previous Proceedings Still in Effect
These preliminary AD duty rates do not affect current cash deposit requirements. Commerce may still change its calculations when it issues the final results of this administrative review. For now, the most recent final AD rate calculated for each company is still applicable. If no final AD duty rate has ever been calculated for a company, then it is subject to the all others rate of 32.62%. The final results of this administrative review are currently due in April.
Cash Deposit Requirements
Once Commerce issues its final results, new AD duty cash deposit requirements may take effect for some companies, beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register.
| Producer/Exporter | AD Rate |
|---|---|
| Productos Laminados de Monterrey, S.A. de C.V. / Aceros Cuatro Caminos, S.A. de C.V. | 6.31% |
Assessment Rates
Commerce will use these rates to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers for entries between Aug. 1, 2012 and July 31, 2013. The agency intends to calculate importer-specific assessment rates for Husteel and Productos Laminados.
(The period of review is 08/01/12 -- 07/31/13. See notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
