South Korea Cut-to-Length Steel Plate: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on cut-to-length carbon quality steel plate products from South Korea (A-580-836). The agency set rates for six companies, and will use these rates to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for entries between Feb. 1, 2012 and Jan. 31, 2013.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Sept. 11
Effective Sept. 11, Commerce is also setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for the six companies under review. Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set in the most recent previous administrative review, and companies that have never been assigned an AD rate will get the all others rate of 0.98%. The new rates are as follows:

No shipments. Commerce determined that the following companies had no shipments to the U.S. during the period under review, and will keep their current AD rates: Daewoo International Corp., Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd., GS Global Corp., Hyosung Corporation, and Hyundai Steel Co.
Assessment Rates For Entries February 2012 - January 2013
Commerce will use the rates listed above as assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between Feb. 1, 2012 and Jan. 31, 2013. For importers of subject merchandise from Dongkuk, Commerce will calculate importer-specific rates. For Edgen, Kyoungil, Samsung, Samwoo and TCC Steel, Commerce will assess AD duties at importers at the 4.64% rate assigned in this review.
