China Wood Flooring: Youyou Preliminarily Found Successor to Lizhong
Linyi Youyou Wood Co., Ltd. is set to inherit the antidumping duty rate assigned to Shanghai Lizhong Wood Products Co., Ltd. for its exports of multilayered wood flooring from China (A-570-970), said the Commerce Department in the preliminary results of a changed circumstances review. The agency preliminarily found that Youyou, which previously was a supplier for Lizhong, assumed Lizhong’s production functions under a Chinese government “removal and relocation” program. No changes were made to the sourcing of inputs, and Youyou sells to the same customers, said Commerce. If Commerce confirms its finding in the final results of this review, Youyou will get Lizhong’s 5.92% AD duty cash deposit rate. The final results may be issued as soon as Sept. 29, and are due by May 12 at the latest.
