State Dept. Adds New Alias to Terrorist List for Pakistan Group
Secretary of State John Kerry in recent days amended the designation of Harakat ul-Mujahidin as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist to include the alias Ansar ul-Ummah. The Pakistan-based militant group operates under a host of other aliases, according to the State Department. The amendment is sanctioned by Executive Order 13224, issued in 2001 (here).
