- Certain oil country tubular goods. The CITT has announced it has initiated a preliminary injury inquiry regarding the complaint that certain oil country tubular goods are being dumped and subsidized which originate in or are exported from Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Korea, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and Vietnam. - Canada-Japan Free Trade Agreement negotiations. The Minister of International Trade Ed Fast announced the upcoming round of negotiations towards a Canada-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) which will help to increase trade and economic benefits for both countries. (here)
- Canada-Philippines-Australia trade mission. The Minister of International Trade Ed Fast wrapped up his trade mission to the Philippines and Australia which was focused on Canada’s pro-trade agenda within the G-20 and Southeast Asia. (here)
- NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. DFAIT updated the 2014 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports (here) and exports. (here)
