  • Canada-South Korea Bilateral Free Trade Agreement. The Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced that he has concluded negotiations for a bilateral free trade agreement with South Korea and help to foster as well as create new trade opportunities for Canadian businesses. (here)
  • Canada-Chile to strengthen trade relations. The Harper Government has announced that it has met with officials from the Chile Government to discuss the success of current economic cooperation and ways to increase trade opportunities. (here)

  • Certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate. The CBSA announced that case arguments are due from all parties in the event of a preliminary investigation regarding the dumping of certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate originating in or exported from Brazil, Taiwan, Denmark, Indonesia, Italy, Japan and Korea.   • Transporting animals during cold weather. The CFIA has reminded all parties involved in the transportation of animals to be aware of their obligations to protect animals from the cold weather when transporting animals to various destinations. (here)
  • Product Recalls. Creations DPR recalls various rings for children manufactured in China (here), Accessories Rose Nanane recalls various children’s jewelry items manufactured in Canada. (here)
