China Garlic: Prelim Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on fresh garlic from China (A-570-831). The agency set preliminary AD rates for two mandatory respondents, Hebei Golden and Shenzhen Xinboda, as well as nine other companies that demonstrated independence from state control. An additional 13 companies said they had no shipments of subject merchandise during the review period, so Commerce says it intends to maintain AD rates for those companies at levels set in previous reviews.1 These preliminary results are not in effect. Commerce may modify them in the final results of this review and change the estimated AD cash deposit rates for these companies.
