Shipping Coordinating Committee to Host Public Meeting on IMO Preparation, Says State
The State Department said the Shipping Coordinating Committee will host a public meeting Jan. 9 at 9 a.m. at the U.S. Coast Guard facility in Arlington, Va. The primary objective of the meeting is to prepare for the first Session of the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) Sub-Committee on Ship Design and Construction, scheduled for the IMO Headquarters in the U.K. from Jan. 20-24, 2014.
