CBP Expands Document Imaging Pilot to Software Providers
CBP will begin the second phase of its Document Imaging System (DIS) pilot by adding software providers as participants and involving more partner government agency forms, the agency said in a notice. CBP previously announced the plans to expand the pilot (see 13071014).

The second phase of the pilot "expands the eligible participant pool to include software providers merely transmitting electronically data received for transmission to CBP," it said. The pilot program may be expanded as of July 23, the notice said.
