  • Submission for approval of novel food and livestock feed. The CFIA has received a submission from Monsanto Canada Inc. and Forage Genetics International LLC for the approval of its genetically modified livestock feed alfalfa line known as KK179. (here)
  • Proposed changes to fertilizer import regulations. The CFIA is inviting comments from stakeholders for the new proposed changes to fertilizer import regulations which will streamline regulations and allow greater flexibility. (here)
  • China mattress innerspring units. The CBSA has initiated a reinvestigation into the alleged anti-dumping duties for certain mattress innerspring units originating in or exported from China. (here)
  • China unitized wall modules. The CBSA has announced that effective July 18, 2013 exporter and importer ruling letters will be available. (here)
