- Canada-Russia trade. The Minister of International trade Ed Fast and Minister of Agriculture Gerry Ritz are attending the Canada-Russia Intergovernmental Economic Commission meeting to discuss Canada’s high quality agri-food exports to Russia and strengthening the trade relationship between the countries. - Galvanized steel wire. The CBSA has announced that all case arguments are due June 17, 2013 on dumping of certain galvanized steel wire originating in or exported from China, Israel, and Spain and the subsidizing from China. (here)
- China aluminum extrusions. The CITT has given notice that it has initiated an expiry notice order of its original findings it made on March 7, 2009 in regards to the dumping and subsidizing of aluminum extrusions originating in or exported from China. (here)
- Sunsprout and SproutsAlive brands health hazard alert. The CFIA issued a health hazard alert for Sunsprout and SproutsAlive brand alfalfa sprouts which may be contaminated with Salmonella and are warning the public not to consume. (here)
