CBP Seattle to Post Liquidation Notices Electronically at Port
CBP's Seattle Field Office will start posting the public bulletin notice of liquidation (CBP Form 4333) electronically, it said in a trade information notice. The new posting policy will begin June 7 for port codes 3001, 3002, 3003, 3006, 3007, 3008, 3022, 3026, 3029, 3071, 3082 and 3078 only, the notice said. The electronic posting will be available in a conspicuous place -- a computer on a public counter-- as required in 19 CFR 159.9. The bulletin is currently posted in paper form in Seattle's Entry Branch lobby every Friday, but starting June 7, the information will be saved to a stand-alone computer in the lobby, the notice said. CBP is in the process of making more bulletins electronically available (see 13050924) for more on CBP's plans to start posting bulletin notices electronically).
