- Canada beef exports to Chile. The Harper Government has announced that Canadian beef producers will have full market access for beef exports to Chile. (here)
- Fresh vegetables testing for pesticide residue. The CFIA has conducted testing on a total of 1024 samples of fresh vegetables for over 430 pesticide residues and found that 98.6 percent were safe and compliant. (here)
- Canada-Chile sign Memorandum of Understanding. Canada and Chile have signed a renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding regarding the cooperation and sustainable development of minerals and metals for a five year period ending in 2018. (here)
- China unitized wall modules. The CITT has reached a preliminary determination of injury for certain unitized wall modules originating in or exported from China and have determined that there is evidence that the dumping and subsidizing have caused or are threatening to cause injury. (here)
- Hollow structural sections. The CBSA will release the finalized import statistics and market tables for hollow structural sections originating or exported from Korea, South Africa and Turkey. (here)
