- Growing Forward 2 agricultural program launched. The Minister of Agriculture Gerry Ritz announced the Canada-Manitoba Growing Forward 2 bilateral agreement which will focus on the growth and long-term prosperity in the agricultural industry in Manitoba to have the tools to remain competitive and expand into new markets. - NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. DFAIT updated the 2013 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports and exports. (here)
- China silicon metal. The CITT has issued a preliminary injury inquiry concerning the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of silicon metal originating in or exported from China. (here)
- China thermoelectric coolers and warmers. The CBSA will be taking submission of notices of representation and disclosure undertakings concerning the dumping and subsidizing of certain thermoelectric cooler and warmers originating in or exported from China. (here)
- Product recalls. Cocoa latte hot drink maker manufactured in China (here), 12 volt heated jackets manufactured in China (here).
