CBP Committee Issues Exporter Survey; Asks for Responses by April 19

CBP’s Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations is asking all entities involved in the export process to complete the 2013 Export Survey, it announced in April 17 AES Broadcast 2013028. The survey will capture feedback regarding current export operations and the root cause of impacts to customers or supply chain. Information gathered will be anonymous, and results will be shared in future COAC meetings. Survey responses are due April 19.

Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.

The survey consists of multiple choice questions that request information on issues like exam rates, estimated cost of doing business, time expenditures and satisfaction level with CBP. COAC will issue a separate survey to collect information from service providers.
