CBP Cites C-TPAT Accomplishments to Date
C-TPAT said it had completed 22,492 validations by Feb. 1, in a C-TPAT program achievements notice. It said that included 11,775 initial validations completed and 10,717 revalidations completed. By year, there were 640 initial validations and 1,736 revalidations in 2012, and 78 initial validations and 186 revalidations so far this year.

C-TPAT said it had 10,512 certified partners by April 1, a staffing level of 156, and 327 Tier 3 importers. It noted mutual recognition agreements with New Zealand, Canada, Jordan, Japan, Korea, European Union and Taiwan, and said it had mutual recognition projects underway with Singapore, Israel, China, Mexico and Switzerland.
Other actions include Technical Assistance Projects with Malaysia, the Philippines, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Vietnam, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and India, CBP said, and capacity building training programs with Ghana and Kenya.
