  • U.S. - EU Trade debate. International Trade Committee Members of European Parliament (MEPs) are set to debate issues in U.S. - EU trade with Commissioner Karel de Gucht today. The debate will focus on the preliminary conclusions by the EU-US High-level Working Group for Jobs and Growth set up to analyze options for increasing transatlantic trade and investment. (here)
  • REACH - IT. REACH stands for the Regulation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. REACH-IT provides an online platform to submit data and dossiers regarding pre-registration, registration, and C&L notification on chemicals. It also allows the Agency and Member States authorities to review the dossiers. The new version of REACH-IT is ready to be used to submit registration and other dossiers to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). The system will only accept dossiers created with IUCLID 5.4. (here)
  • Recalls. The European Commission issued its weekly list of measures to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of approximately 30 products in the EU, including certain clothing, childcare articles, cosmetics, and kitchen accessories. (here)
