- Canada Food Inspection. The government of Canada said it's developing a stronger, more comprehensive inspection approach to further strengthen food safety in Canada. (here)
- Trade Mission to Russia. The Minister of Trade Ed Fast said he's leading a trade mission to Russia with nearly 30 companies selected by the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service from the building products and construction, aerospace, and mining sectors. (here)
- NAFTA- Canada Alloy Steel Wire Rod. Notice was given pursuant to the rule of the NAFTA Article 1904 Panel Rules, the panel that established the review of final results of Anti-dumping administrative review made by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, CITT, respecting carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Canada. - China stainless steel sinks. The CITT gave notice that stainless steel sinks exported from or originating from China had been dumped and subsidized which caused injury to the domestic industry of Canada. (here)
