AQIM Handbook: The AQIM Handbook (here) was revised to clarify the instructions for hypergeometric sampling of cargo. If the number of boxes (units) in the shipment is less than 10, all boxes/units should be inspected. Changes can be found on pages 4-3-5, 4-4-5, 4-7-4, 4-9-5, and 4-13-5.

FAVIR and Fruits and Vegetables Manual: FAVIR (here) and the Fruits and Vegetables Manual (here) were revised. There were several reasons for the revision:

  • Papaya from Chiapas, Mexico, authorized orchards: added the orchard "San Clemente"
  • Mango from Mexico: corrected inspection procedures for precleared hot water treated mango

In FAVIR, open the Commodity Import Report (CIR) to view the import requirements. The manual page numbers that have changed are 2-29, 3-203, and 3-204 (changes are indicated by black bars in the left margin.)
