Canadian Government Notices for May 7

The government of Canada issued the following trade-related notices for May 7, 2012 (note that some may also be given separate headlines)

  • Plant Health Import Requirements. The CFIA listed the general import requirements for temperate fresh fruit approved for entry into Canada. (here)
  • China steel piling pipe. CBSA announced it is initiating investigations into the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of certain steel-piling pipe originating in or exported from China. (here)
  • China certain mattress innerspring units. CBSA released the reinvestigation schedule for the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of certain mattress innerspring units originating in or exported from China. (here)
  • China hot rolled carbon steel plates. The CITT gave notice that it will initiate an expiry review concerning the dumping of hot rolled carbon steel plates originating in or exported from China. (here)
  • Korea certain liquid dielectric transformers. The CITT will conduct a preliminary inquiry into the alleged injurious dumping of liquid dielectric transformers originating in or exported from the Republic of Korea and will make a descision within 60 days fo the date of initiation. (here)
  • Pakistan Potassium silicate solids. The CBSA terminated the investigations of dumping and subsidizing of potassium silicate solids originating in or exported from Pakistan. (here)
  • China Stainless steel sinks. The CITT will issue its findings by May 24, 2012 into the dumping and subsidizing of stainless steel sinks originating in or exported from China. (here)
