APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for March 29
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service issued an email March 29, 2012, announcing changes to a Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manual. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

- Agricultural Clearance, The online manual has updated phone numbers for PPQ identifiers in El Paso, Texas. It removes Kulis Air International Guard Base from the list of military locations for clearance of carriers arriving from foreign ports. Revisions are in Appendix G: Lists of PPQ Area Identifiers and PPQ National Specialists: Page G-1-7. Appendix I: Lists of Military Bases and Approved Garbage Facilities: Page 1-1-12.
