APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for March 22-26

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service issued emails on March 22-26, 2012 announcing a number of changes to various Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some of the changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

  • Golden Nematode. The online version of the Golden Nematode Program Manual has been revised to update the map of Golden Nematode regulated areas in the State of New York. The revised map is on page 2-1-3. (03/26/2012)
  • Israeli nurseries. The list of Approved Israeli Nurseries Spodoptera Exclusion Program has been updated to add one new grower, to remove two growers, and to increase the number of houses for two growers. Revisions to the list are indicated by a black change bar in the left margin. (03/23/2012)
  • AQI monitoring worksheets. Worksheets used in the Agricultural Quarantine Inspection Monitoring program have been updated. The revised worksheets can be accessed from individual chapters in the AQIM Handbook or directly from this web site. (03/22/2012)
