CBP Posts AESTIR Changes to Appendix A Commodity Response Filing Msgs

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted an updated summary of changes for the Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR). Most recently, the following changes to Appendix A on Commodity Response Filing Messages have been posted.

  • Added: Response Code 549 “BIS LICENSE NBR NOT VALID FOR LICENSE CODE”

Effective April 11, 2012

  • Added: Response Code 672 “GB/AU ACID NBR UNKNOWN OR INVALID”
  • Changed Response Codes 667, 563, and 564 to include new license exemption codes.
