  • Exports of Canola to China. Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz announced that a major Chinese feed company, intends to increases its purchase of Canadian canola meal by up to 240 million annually by 2015. (here)
  • Agricultural Initiatives. Prime Minister Harper and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao announced two new agreements, which will expand Canadian agricultural and agri-food exports to China. (here)

  • China Bicycles. Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT), has issued a notice of expiry regarding the dumping and subsidizing of bicycles, excluding foldable frames and stems, originating in or exported from China in excess of value of 225 Canadian dollars and is set to expire on December 9, 2012.   • Pakistan Potassium Silicate. CITT has released a revised notice of commencement of the preliminary injury inquiry regarding the dumping and subsidizing of potassium silicate originating in or exported from Pakistan. (here)
