China Wooden Bedroom Furniture: AD New Shipper Review Prelim Rescission
The International Trade Administration has made a preliminary determination that Marvin Furniture (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. did not satisfy the regulatory requirements for a new shipper review (NSR) of the antidumping duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from China (A-570-890), and is preliminarily rescinding the review.

If the ITA proceeds to a final rescission, effective upon publication of the final rescission of the NSR, it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to discontinue the option of posting a bond or security in lieu of an AD cash deposit for entries of subject merchandise exported by Marvin Furniture. Also, if it proceeds to a final rescission of the NSR, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the China-wide rate of 216.01% for entries exported by Marvin Furniture.
(The decision to preliminarily rescind was made as ITA determined that Marvin had additional entries prior to the review period of 01/01/11 - 06/30/11 that had not been reported. See notice for more information, including a footnote on the addition of HTS 9403.90.8041 to the scope of the order.)
