China Pure Magnesium: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of pure magnesium from China for the period of May 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009 (A-570-832).

Final Results of Review

As a result of this review, the ITA determined that the following margins exist for the period of review:

Estimated AD Cash Deposit Requirements

The following estimated AD duty cash deposit requirements are effective for all shipments of subject merchandise from China with a time of entry on or after December 23, 2010:

  1. For TMI, the cash deposit rate will be the rate listed above;
  2. For previously investigated or reviewed PRC and non-PRC exporters not listed above that have separate rates, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the exporter-specific rate published for the most recent period;
  3. For all PRC exporters of subject merchandise which have not been found to be entitled to a separate rate, the cash deposit rate will be the PRC-wide rate of 111.73 percent; and
  4. For all non-PRC exporters of subject merchandise which have not received their own rate, the cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the PRC exporter that supplied that non-PRC exporter.

Assessment Instructions

The ITA will determine, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection shall assess, AD duties on all appropriate entries of subject merchandise in accordance with the final results of this review. For assessment purposes, the ITA calculated importer (or customer)-specific assessment rates for merchandise subject to this review. The ITA will issue assessment instructions to CBP within 15 days after December 23, 2010.
