Brazil PET Film: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review of polyethylene terephthalate film, sheet, and strip (PET film) from Brazil (A-351-841) for the period November 6, 2008, through October 31, 2009.

Final Results of Review

As a result of its review, the ITA determines that the following weighted-average margin percentage exists for the period of review:

Estimated AD Cash Deposit Requirements

The following estimated AD duty cash deposit requirements are effective for all shipments of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after December 2, 2010:

  1. The cash deposit rate for Terphane will be the rate established in the final results of this review;
  2. For other previously reviewed or investigated companies, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period;
  3. If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review or the LTFV investigation but the manufacturer is, the cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the merchandise;
  4. If neither the exporter nor the manufacturer has its own rate, the cash deposit rate will be 28.72%, the all-others rate established in the final determination.

Assessment Instructions

The ITA will determine, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection shall assess, AD duties on all appropriate entries. The ITA will issue appropriate assessment instructions for Terphane to CBP within 15 days after December 2, 2010.
