China Pneumatic OTR Tires: Preliminary Results of CV Admin Review

The International Trade Administration is conducting an administrative review of Hebei Starbright Tire Co., Ltd. under the countervailing (CV) duty order on certain new pneumatic off-the-road (OTR) tires from China for the period December 17, 2007 through December 31, 2008 (C-570-913).

The ITA preliminarily determined that subsidies are being provided to Starbright for the production and export of certain new pneumatic off-the-road tires from China. Interested parties are invited to comment on the preliminary results of this administrative review.

Estimated Cash Deposit Requirements and Assessment Not Yet in Effect

The estimated CV cash deposit requirements at the above rate for the listed firm will be effective upon publication of the final results of this administrative review for all shipments of the subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after the publication date. In addition, the ITA will determine, and CBP shall assess, CV duties on all appropriate entries covered by this review (see notice for assessment instructions for "gap period.").
