Germany Ball Bearings and Parts: Amended Final Results of AD Admin Review
On July 7, 2010, the Court of International Trade sustained the International Trade Administration's results of redetermination on remand concerning the final results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on ball bearings and parts thereof from Germany (A-428-801).

As a result, effective October 13, 2010, the ITA is amending its administrative review final results covering the period of May 1, 2006, through April 30, 2007 for SKF Germany,1 in order to reflect the CIT’s order.
Based on the remand results, the amended weighted-average margin for SKF Germany for the period May 1, 2006 through April 30, 2007, is 1.97 percent. The ITA has determined, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection shall assess, AD duties on all appropriate entries covered by these amended final results. The ITA intends to issue liquidation instructions to CBP 15 days after October 13, 2010.
Note that these amended final results do not change the current estimated AD cash deposit rate for SKF Germany, which was set by a more recent AD duty administrative review. (See ITT's Online Archives or 09/02/10 news, 10090215, for BP summary.)
(This notice also serves as a final reminder to importers of their responsibility under 19 CFR 351.402(f) to file a certificate regarding the reimbursement of AD duties prior to liquidation of the relevant entries during this review period. Failure to comply with this requirement could result in the ITA's presumption that reimbursement of AD duties occurred and the subsequent assessment of doubled AD duties.)
