(Note that the ITA is also correcting its notice issuing the AD duty orders on subject ribbons from China and Taiwan regarding certain cash deposit and liquidation instructions; however, BP’s summary contained accurate instructions1.)

Hon Xin Removed from List of Excluded Producers

The ITA is amending the AD duty order for Taiwan to accurately reflect its final AD duty determination by removing Hon Xin Co., Ltd./ Shienq Huong Enterprise Co., Ltd. from the list of producer/exporter combinations excluded from the order. Producer Hon Xin was inadvertently included as part of a Shienq Huong producer/exporter combination excluded from the AD duty order.

1In its notice, the ITA instructed U.S. Customs and Border Protection to require an AD duty cash deposit or the posting of a bond for each entry; however, it will be instructing CBP to only require a cash deposit, not the posting of a bond. ITT’s summary was correct.

The ITA also stated that it would instruct CBP to terminate the suspension of liquidation for entries of narrow woven ribbons from Taiwan and China with a time of entry prior to August 25, 2010; however the correct date for the termination of suspension of liquidation is September 1, 2010.

(Note that the rates for both AD duty orders are unchanged.

See ITT’s Online Archives or 09/01/10 news, 10090117 and 10090116, for BP summary of the original AD duty orders, which contained accurate cash deposit and liquidation instructions.)
