India Stainless Steel Bar: Final Results of AD Duty Administrative Review

The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review of stainless steel bar from India for the period of February 1, 2008 through January 31, 2009.

1The ITA has found a de minimis AD duty rate for Venus, and a zero rate for Ambica, therefore, no cash deposit is required; however, they remain subject to the order.

(a) For previously reviewed or investigated companies not listed above, the AD duty cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent final results in which that manufacturer or exporter participated;

(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the original AD investigation, but the manufacturer is, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent final results for the manufacturer of the merchandise; and

(c) If neither the exporter nor the manufacturer is a firm covered in this or any previous review conducted by the ITA, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be 12.45%, the “all others” rate established in the AD investigation.

Assessment Instructions

The ITA will issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection within 15 days after September 3, 2010. The ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate without regard to AD duties any entries for which the assessment rate is de minimis.
