The ITA is initiating this review to determine whether China Minmetals Non-ferrous Metals Co., Ltd. (CMN) is the successor-in-interest to Minmetals Precious & Rare Minerals Import and Export/China National Nonferrous Metals Industry Trading Group Corp. (Minmetals/CNNMIT), a separate rate respondent in the original investigation.

ITA to Assign Separate Rate to CMN if Successor-in-Interest

According to the ITA, if the record demonstrates that, with respect to the production and sale of the subject merchandise, CMN operates as the same business entity as Minmetals/CNNMIT, the ITA will assign CMN the AD cash deposit rate of Minmetals/CNNMIT, which is 24.67% (the rate for the separate rate respondents in the original investigation).

The ITA will issue the final results of this AD duty changed circumstances review no later than 270 days after August 11, 2010.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, etc.)
