Supporters Hope to Bring Manager's Amendment to Floor in September, Could be Revised

According to Congressional sources, Senate leaders hope to bring the S. 510 manager's amendment to the Senate floor in September. Sources add however, that there are two remaining issues which need to be worked through: (i) possible restrictions on the use of Bisphenol A in food and beverage containers; and (ii) provisions on small farms. Therefore, the manager's amendment posted to the Committee Web site is not necessarily what will be brought to the Senate floor.
