China Woven Electric Blankets: Amended Final AD Duty Determination

The International Trade Administration has issued an amended final antidumping duty determination for certain woven electric blankets from China.

The ITA is amending its final determination to correct ministerial errors in the calculation of the AD duty rate for mandatory respondent Hung Kuo Electronics (Shenzhen) Company Limited, which also affects the AD duty rate for the separate rate respondents.

AD Suspension of Liquidation Continues

The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to continue to suspend liquidation of all entries of woven electric blankets from China with a time of entry on or after February 3, 2010 (the publication date of the preliminary determination).

Amended AD Cash Deposit Requirements

The ITA will also instruct CBP to require a cash deposit or the posting of a bond for entries of subject merchandise from China for the exporter/producer combinations below with a time of entry on or after August 4, 2010, at the following amended AD duty rates:

(The ITA notes that for all non-China exporters of subject merchandise which have not received their own rate, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the China exporter/producer combination that supplied that non-China exporter.)
