Group of Senators Urge Release of IMF Report on China Currency

On May 18, 2010, Senator Schumer (D), joined by a bipartisan group of nine other senators, urged the Obama administration to pressure the Chinese government to stop suppressing the release of an International Monetary Fund report that is said to conclude that China manipulates its currency to gain an unfair competitive advantage.
