and ITI have been involved in settlement talks with the city and its co-defendant, the Natural Resources Defense Council. None of the parties has been heard from since U.S. District Judge William Pauley issued his Feb. 5 order suspending the injunction motion and giving the sides at least until April 15 to negotiate an agreement. CEA, ITI and the NRDC all have repeatedly declined comment on the talks, citing the confidentiality of the discussions. “The parties are continuing settlement discussions” and have asked the court for a 60-day deadline extension for reinstating the injunction motion, a CEA spokeswoman said Wednesday.
