ITA Postpones CV Preliminary Determination to June 7

The ITA is currently investigating alleged subsidy programs involving loans, grants, income tax incentives, and the provision of goods or services for less than adequate remuneration.

Due to the number and complexity of the alleged countervailable subsidy practices being investigated, it is not practicable to complete the preliminary determination of this investigation within the original time limit.

Therefore, the ITA is fully extending the due date for the preliminary determination to the next business day after 137 days after the investigation was initiated, which is June 7, 2010.

(See ITT's Online Archives or 01/27/10 and 01/28/10 news, 10012735 and 10012840, for BP summaries of the ITA's initiation this CV duty investigation and the companion antidumping duty investigation.

See ITT's Online Archives or 02/19/10 news, 10021955, for BP summary of the ITA's extension of the deadline for Q&A questionnaires in the AD duty investigation.)
