AD: Trinidad and Tobago Certain Alloy Steel Wire Rod
The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review of carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Trinidad and Tobago for the period of October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008.

AD Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 02/25/10:

(a) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review or the AD investigation, but the manufacturer is, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the merchandise; and
(b) If neither the exporter nor the manufacturer is a firm covered in this or any previous review conducted by the ITA, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the all-others rate of 11.40% ad valorem from the AD investigation.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (10/01/07 - 09/30/08)
The ITA intends to issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 15 days after February 25, 2010. The ITA has calculated importer-specific (or customer-specific) duty assessment rates for subject merchandise.
The ITA adds that for entries of subject merchandise during the review period produced by AMPL for which AMPL did not know the merchandise was destined for the U.S., the ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate unreviewed entries at the 11.40% all-others rate if there is no company-specific rate for an intermediary involved in the transaction.
