The ITA initiated this review to determine whether Evotape S.p.A. is the successor-in-interest to Tyco Adhesives Italia S.p.A.; and whether Evotape Packaging S.r.l. and Evotape Masking S.r.l. are successors-in-interest to Evotape S.p.A. for purposes of determining AD liability.

ITA Preliminarily Finds Tyco's Zero AD Rate Applies to Evotape Companies

The ITA preliminarily determines that Evotape S.p.A. is the successor-in-interest to Tyco.; and that Evotape Packaging and Evotape Masking are both successors-in-interest to Evotape S.p.A for purposes of determining AD liability.

Therefore, the ITA preliminarily finds that Evotape Packaging and Evotape Masking should receive Tyco's AD duty cash deposit rate with respect to the subject merchandise (i.e., 0.00%).

If the above preliminary results are affirmed in the ITA's final results, the AD duty cash deposit rate of zero will apply to all entries of the subject merchandise from Evotape Packaging and Evotape Masking with a time of entry on or after the date of publication of the final results.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the finding, etc.

See ITT's Online Archives or 09/16/09 news, 09091650, for BP summary of the initiation of this changed circumstances review.)
