Final 2009 Calculations of "Expected NME Wages" for AD Proceedings

The International Trade Administration has finalized its 2009 calculations of expected non-market economy (NME) wages for use as the surrogate value for direct labor in antidumping proceedings involving NME countries.

These expected NME wage rates will be in effect for all AD proceedings for which the ITA's final decision is due after December 9, 2009.

In October 2009, ITA requested comments on potential clerical errors in its preliminary calculation of the 2009 expected NME wages and has made changes based on those comments.
