CV Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 11/09/09:
| Company | CV Rate |
|---|---|
| ArcelorMittal Stainless Belgium (AMS Belgium) | (a) |
| Other Companies | (b) |
(a) The ITA has determined a CV duty rate of zero for AMS Belgium; therefore, no CV cash deposit is required for this company; and
(b) For all non-reviewed firms, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect cash deposits of estimated CV duties at the most recent company-specific or all-others rate applicable to the company. These rates shall apply to all non-reviewed companies until a review of a company assigned these rates is requested.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (01/01/07 - 12/31/07)
The ITA will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to CBP 15 days after November 9, 2009. Because the CV duty rate for AMS Belgium is zero, the ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate shipments of stainless steel plate in coils by AMS Belgium during the review period, without regard to CV duties.
Pursuant to an injunction issued in January 2009, the ITA must continue to suspend liquidation of entries made by AMS Belgium pending a conclusive court decision in that action.
