AD: China Fresh Garlic

The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of antidumping duty new shipper reviews of fresh garlic from China for the review period of November 1, 2007 through June 9, 20081.

AD Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 10/02/09:

(a) For subject merchandise exported by Yuanxiang but not produced by Yuanxiang, the AD duty cash deposit rate continues to be the per-unit China-wide entity rate;

(b) For subject merchandise exported by Hejia but not produced by Hejia, the AD duty cash deposit rate continues to be the per-unit China-wide entity rate; and

(d) For subject merchandise produced or exported by Jinxiang Tianheng Trade Co., Ltd.; Jinxiang Zhengyang Import & Export Co., Ltd.; Weifang Chenglong Import & Export Co., Ltd.; and Juye Homestead Fruits and Vegetables Co., Ltd., the AD duty cash deposit rates continue to be the per-unit China-wide entity rate.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Periods

The ITA will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 15 days after October 2, 2009. The ITA will direct CBP to assess importer-specific assessment rates based on the resulting per-unit (i.e., per kilogram) amount on each entry of the subject merchandise during the review period.
