The ITA is initiating this review to determine whether post-acquisition SNR Roulements S.A. is the successor-in-interest to pre-acquisition SNR.
(SNR requested this changed circumstances review because NTN Bearing Corporation of America (NBCA) acquired a 51% interest in SNR.)
ITA to Assign SNR Pre- Acquisition AD Rate If Successor-in-Interest
If the ITA finds that post-acquisition SNR is the successor-in-interest to pre-acquisition SNR, the ITA will accord post-acquisition SNR the same AD duty rate as pre-acqusitiion SNR.
During the course of this AD duty changed circumstances review, the ITA will not change the cash deposit requirements for imports of the subject merchandise. The cash deposit rate will be altered, if warranted, pursuant only to the final results of this changed circumstances review.
The ITA will issue the final results of this AD duty changed circumstances review not later than 270 days after September 14, 2009, or within 45 days if all parties to the proceeding agree to the preliminary results.
(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, etc.)
