CV: Argentina Ni-Resist Piston Inserts

The International Trade Administration has made a final affirmative countervailing duty determination that countervailable subsidies are being provided to a producer and exporter of Ni-resist piston inserts in Argentina.

CV Suspension of Liquidation Continues

The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to continue the suspension of liquidation for CV duty purposes of entries of subject merchandise from Argentina with a time of entry on or after July 6, 2009.

CV Cash Deposit Instructions

The ITA will require a cash deposit of estimated CV duties at the revised rates listed below for entries of subject merchandise from Argentina with a time of entry on or after September 18, 2009:

CV Duty Order to be Issued if ITC Issues Final Affirmative Injury Determination

The ITA will issue a CV duty order on Ni-resist piston inserts from Argentina if the International Trade Commission issues a final affirmative injury determination

If the ITC determines that material injury, or threat of material injury, does not exist, this proceeding will be terminated and all estimated duties deposited or securities posted as a result of the suspension of liquidation will be refunded or canceled.
