ITA Postpones CV Preliminary Determination to December 7th
The ITA finds that the subject case is extraordinarily complicated by reason of the number and complexity of the alleged countervailable subsidy practices, the need to determine the extent to which particular countervailable subsidies are used by individual manufacturers, producers, and exporters, and the number of firms whose activities must be investigated.
Accordingly, the ITA is fully extending the due date for the preliminary CV determination to no later than 130 days after the day on which the investigation was initiated, to December 7, 2009.
(See ITT's Online Archives or 08/06/09 news, 09080640, for BP summary of the ITA's initiation of this CV duty investigation and the companion antidumping duty investigation.)
