ITA Postpones CV Preliminary Determination to November 2nd

The ITA is currently investigating a number of complex alleged subsidy programs, including various loan programs, grants, income tax incentives, and the provision of goods and services for less than adequate remuneration in this investigation.

Due to the number and complexity of the alleged subsidy programs being investigated, the ITA finds that this investigation is extraordinarily complicated and that additional time is necessary to make the preliminary determination.

Therefore, the ITA is fully extending the due date for the preliminary determination to no later than 130 days after the day on which the investigation was initiated. The deadline for completion of the preliminary CV duty determination is now November 2, 2009.

(See ITT's Online Archives or 07/02/09 news, 09070240, for BP summary of the ITA's initiation of this CV duty investigation and the companion antidumping duty investigation.)
