AD: Japan Certain Hot-Rolled Carbon-Quality Steel
The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review of certain hot-rolled flat-rolled carbon-quality steel products from Japan for the period of June 1, 2007 through May 31, 2008.

AD Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 06/11/09:

(a) For previously reviewed or investigated companies not listed above, the AD duty cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate established for the most recent period;
(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the AD investigation, but the manufacturer is, the AD duty cash deposit rate will continue to be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the subject merchandise; and
(c) If neither the exporter nor the manufacturer is a firm covered by this review, a prior review, or the AD investigation, the AD duty cash deposit rate shall be the all-others rate established in the section 129 redetermination of the AD investigation, which is 22.92%.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (06/01/07 - 05/31/08)
The ITA intends to issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 15 days after June 11, 2009.
The ITA will direct CBP to assess the AD rates listed above against all subject merchandise manufactured or exported by JFE, Nippon, and Kobe with a time of entry during the review period.
